
Year 8 have been working on "Le Petit Chaperon Rouge" from the wonderful Northumberland grid for learning website.
So far, we have learnt the perfect and imperfect tenses to help us understand the story. We have also revised adjectives. We have worked on phonemes and how to pronounce different words.
In the lesson, we are going to concentrate on how the story is told and work out the way you can introduce new ideas.
1- Look at your booklets from pages 4 to 7 and read with a partner, concentrate on the pronunciation looking at the sounds:
EU- OU- OI- AN Find words with thes sounds in the text
On page 4- Which words are important for introducing new ideas?
On page 5- Comment dit-on "he wanted"?- Using the dictionary which verb is it in the Infinitive
Comment dit-on "as soon as possible"?
On page 6- Which words are you finding difficult to understand- With a partner work out the meaning and check with 2 other students before checking in the dictionary. Give yourself a mark on the work that you have done so far!
On page 7- Find a verb in the infinitive, in the present tense, in the past tense and in the immediate future- Check with partners. How did you do?
